What the Course Covers

You will learn how to:

  • Understand what coordination problems are, and why they matter
  • Learn practical ways to analyze coordination challenges using multiple models and frameworks
  • Apply that lens to major global issues and real-world case studies
  • Compare existing and emerging approaches, from institutions and policy to AI-enabled tools
  • Identify practical ways to use coordination thinking in your own work

Why This Matters

Coordination is a key bottleneck behind many of today's most important challenges. This course aims to make coordination thinking clear, actionable, and useful, whether you work in policy, research, technology, civil society, or simply want better tools for understanding complex problems.
